I really didn't think this movie was all too good. Not focusing on the fact that it came from a book, the movie was pretty good, it had it's intense parts. But considering it was based on a book that i've read many times, it wasn't that great. There were too many things changed, and added into the movie, so that bothered me. They left out very important scenes that i feel are really important in the story of Harry Potter. So if you're a die hard fan of harry potter books this movie may come as a disappointment, but if you've only watched the movies then you'll enjoy this one.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
