coattails: borat in, bruno aus.

one would think that bruno would know better than to ride on someone's coattails (it's D&G, after all!) - but unfortunately, it seems he doesn't. bruno lacked the depth and intellect that made borat more than just an hour and half of one grotesque moment after another. there we definitely funny moments, however i just wish cohen had realized that relying primarily on shock and awe was not enough. and as much as it pains me to say this - because i genuinely am a huge fan of cohen's work - i'd have to say bruno is very much aus.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
