The music in this movie was great and the story line ended well but the overall darkside influence brought the whole thing down. There were several parts that sang songs about voodoo and how it can be so wonderful. As a Christian, I would have to say I'd prefer my children be a little older to see it. They referred to the man doing the voodoo as the "Shadowman" trying to make him seem less threatening. If it were the other way around and this Disney movie were shoving Christian teachings down our childrens throats, people would be up in arms. Very much a double standard from Disney here. Unless you want to discuss voodoo and the dark side teachings with your children, avoid this movie.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
