While overall the film did not feel like the 2h46m it was, there were a few points in which the pace lagged, most noticeably the long and frequent battle scenes.
In a few opening sequences the camera panned a bit too quickly for viewing in 3D, and there was some blurriness.
Overall, great multi-layered story, fine performances, a great job bringing this imaginary world and its creatures to life. And some genuinely moving scenes.
