I love the Harry Potter movies. Although, admittedly I have never read the books. Fans will definately not want to miss Half-Blood but it is weaker in comparison to the previous 5. The action was subdued so PG is appropriate. It had the potential to be highly emotional (teen angst, choices, death) but leaned more on comedy than truly allowing the audience to feel, as Dumbledore says "the sting of love." Still I'd watch it again and am already looking forward to the next installment.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
