I left this movie and quickly posted to my Facebook that I wasn't sure how I felt about the movie. Natalie Portman was amazing, Barbara Hershey, good to see her back in films again played a great "Psycho" mother. As for the film...what to say? I felt like I was on a really bad acid trip at times, well, most of the time. This is expected of an Aronofsky film though. I felt dirty after watching Requiem for a Dream too. I don't know if I would give it Best Picture for Oscar, definately a nod, but then again, there have not been many good films this year. Go see it! It's worth it! If anything, go see it for Natalie Portman's Oscar winning performance.
Do not compare this movie to Borat. It is a completely different experience. I haven't laughed so hard in so long. I'm worried for Sacha Baron Cohen's safety!
