Great movie...but detail hungry

I was very impressed with the cinematography and directing. Both were quite excellent. However, as I've come to expect from the Harry Potter movies, is that they do not tell the whole story. Several details were left out, one major one being the fight scene (in the book) between Dumbledore's Army and the death eaters in the castle. There was nothing in the movie to suggest how the death eaters were removed from the castle. Not only was this opportunity for action abandoned, but I felt it left the plot hanging while assuming it had been concluded. Yuck. But overall, great adaptation and well designed.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
