As a Harry Potter fanatic who has followed the books since they began, I have to say I was only severely disappointed in some aspects of the movie. Overall, it was a great film, and I would definitely see it again. However, as big a fan as I am, when the movie strays from the book, I'll always be upset. But this movie more than the others did a great job of catching most important aspects found in the Deathly Hallows without straying from the original plot too much. There were a few characterizations thrown in for Harry, Hermoine, and Ron that would definitely never have been written in the book, but it turned out all right and the movie was exciting to watch.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
