I am a "wait 'til it comes out on DVD" movie watcher. But I have to say that Dark Knight was worth the expense and hassle of going to the theater.
Christian Bale is the quintessential Batman...hands down. Intense, understated, and commanding, no one has done the role better. Heath Ledger's jaw-dropping performance as the Joker will be his legacy.
The story sequencing was great, and even though Hollywood does stray from the original Batman story line, it is totally forgivable. I was on the edge of my seat for the entire film.
Long live the Dark Knight!!!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
