Does the book get justice?

I was very impressed with the movie's effects and acting. However I do not believe that the movie covered even half of the MAJOR events that took place in the book, events that shape the characters and their future endeavors. I honestly can't see how they will continue with another movie(s) without these important points in the 6th installment. I did like how Harry, Ginny, Hermoine and Ron acted like humans - with emotions and all.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
