My daughter did not like the pacing; however I found the movie to include all the critical parts of the book while including some visuals that the book would not be able to do justice. Good movie, can't hardly wait for part II.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Someone already commented it has been a slow summer-- I think this was an awesome summer flick, everyone with a sense of humor should see it.
More movies should have in-movie Video Game Scoring!
It took me a while to see the first ToyStory all those years ago, but it became a staple in the VHS tapes my children watched. Toy Story 2 was even better I thought. This movie ends so well that I think they should stop here. Great Movie, 3D was OK, but I bet it rocks in 2D, too.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

AIW 3D had very good special effects throughout. The Bandersnatch and the Jabberwocky may be a little too scary for young children, judging by the screaming/wailing I heard at certain parts of the movie . The movie isn't G for a reason
Movie makes a great afternoon of fun, not something I normally would want to spend a full $9/head on. Rachel Adams, Robert Downey Jr, and Jude Law all are very good in their roles, the villain is appropriately creepy.
