Brilliant writing, directing and acting! There are so many parallels to our own lives it makes you laugh, and it’s good to laugh at yourself. The main character might seem a lot sardonic, but so what. Watching his audience communication, we are introduced to the differences and similarities between his life and our lives, and somehow are able to see “the big picture”. What may seem as unacceptable takes a completely different direction to where it may just all be totally acceptable. One drawback is the dialogue just kept rolling along while the audience was still guffawing; missed dialogue. It’s a light-hearted story about life and lives, with which we can associate. It comes down to “whatever works”. It’s a cliché!
