Good... but should have been great

The movie is more of a love story than an action packed gangster film. In the movie Dillinger spends most of his time trying to get his love Billy back and be with her. He also spends more time running from the police than he does committing crimes....which is not unlike his real life but not what I expected from this movie. Its worth seeing but perhaps I should have waited till it came out on DVD.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
