Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince was not quite what I expected. If you are an avid HP book reader, you also would have been disappointed with how they portrayed the book. The movie itself was an okay movie to watch, yet they left some more interesting parts out of the final cut, and swap some information for what they wanted. The movie also left me with a lot of questions on how they will tie in the HBP with the DH clues. ( not present in the movie ) I would have to say that this movie has taken over as my least favorite of the series. Hopefully with WB making the Deathly Hallows into 2 seperate movies, they will be able to include a more accurate portrayal of the events and lead ins of the book.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
