It was almost like putting Dumb and Dumber in the old testimate. got a few random laughs but also spent a lot of time staring at my watch. Kept looking for the Geico cave man. That's about what the costumes looked like.
This was a long random, emotionless destruction sequence loosly tied to the plot with virutally no attention given to finer details. In one small example, early in the movie the aircraft carrier USS Stennis CVN 74 (it is given a ficticious name for this scene) is blown up in a spectacular fashion. Later on in the movie they give the same carrier a larger part doing flight ops in multiple scenes as though nothing ever happened. Transformers Revenge of the Fallen gives you over 2 hours of carnage and destruction but fails to pay for it with any emotional feeling or sypothy making the the whole thing very difficult to take seriously.
