It was one of the Met's best and there have been alot of great HD presentations: great singers, a simple but effective stage setting, and excellent staging. Terrific.
Two squawks:
1- The intermission should NOT have been omitted--too long for one sitting.
2- We missed the chats before the start and during the intermission--htose are a real plus in the live and normal encore performances.
