Didn't meet expectations

When the movie started, I had very high expectations. However. The story was boring, the action was boring, the drama was boring, the love was boring. The movie was two and a half hours of build up to nothing. It wasn't a great action movie, wasn't a great gangster movie, wasn't a great love story. It really didn't deliver in any regard. There was nothing wrong with the acting in the film, excluding Bale who was extremely pale and boring throughout. The core problem in the movie was the editing and the directions the director took. Overall I have to give this movie a 2; it misses the 3 stars because it was too long. I just feel bad that the actors' excellent work was so poorly wasted.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
