This was a really well-done movie. The little girl was priceless. Matt Damon, as usual, was excellent. I thought the movie was really good and my 10-year old son thoroughly enjoyed it too. I went to drool on Matt Damon, but found a movie that was engaging, without all the nudity and foul language that is so prevalent these days. Great family movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Jaden Smith was fabulous, and Jackie Chan really did well in this part. The best part for me, as a black belt, was not the fighting (although that was very good), but the black belt values I learned in martial arts: persistence, integrity, and above all, honor. My son picked up on all of that, yet they never came out and said it; rather, they showed how those values look in life. GREAT movie. He has already asked if we can buy it when it comes out on DVD, and we will. The original is a faint memory (I may rent it just to compare), but this movie was really well done. The scenery in China was breathtaking, too. GO!
While this movie is a sad commentary on our unfortunate times, the movie itself is amazingly done and well worth seeing. Clooney does a fantastic job portraying his character, with all his foibles, as well as conveying a sense of hope to the people he must contact. Very well done. Oscar time, here we come!
