AS I SAID THIS IS A LONG MOVIE BUT UNLIKE MOST MOVIES THAT ARE LONG, THERE ARE NO SLOW OR DOWN TIMES.
THIS MOVIE WAS VERY ENJOYABLE. I CANNOT WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE WITH BAT GIRL AND ROBIN!
MAJOR HAT'S OFF TO ACTOR CHRISTIAN BALE FOR TAKING THE TIME TO GO TO COLORADO AND VISITING THE SURVIVORS OF THAT TERRIBLE SENSELESS MOVIE THEATER SHOOTING.
MY HEART AND WISHES GO OUT TO ALL THE FAMILIES AND LOVED ONES.
Pros well paced, great story, great actors

FUN, VERY ENTERTAINING MOVIE.
BEING AS I AM EX-NAVY I FOUND SOME OF THE THINGS A BIT OF A STRETCH BUT OVERALL THIS MOVIE WAS A FUN, EXCITING SCI-FI MOVIE.
IT DOES MAKE US WONDER IF WE SHOULD BE TRYING TO CONTACT JUST ANYONE THAT COULD BE OUT THERE IN ALL THAT VAST SPACE!
GO TO THIS ONE AND HAVE A GREAT TIME, CHEERS!

First of all let me say that I think Johnny Depp is an amazing actor. His role play is unique and very convincing.
This movie was good overall but it somehow lacked that something special that most movies with Johnny Depp offers.
When I left the theater thinking about the movie I was left with a adequate but not quite satisfying feeling.

Excellent Movie Poorly Advertised

I went to see this movie totally on the expectations of J.J. Abrams and Steven Spielberg's rep.
This movie is wonderful for your teens and families alike. I love Sci-Fi so of course I wanted to see this movie on the big screen.
So I went IMAX.
The young actress Elle Fanning was sensational depicting a young teen’s first time in a budding relationship and the intrigue about the alien creature made the film interesting.
What annoyed me however was this blue line of light was across the horizon of the screen several times during the movie. Once at the beginning of the movie in depicting the stars in the sky at night and at the end of the movie when the ship had taken off and was visible about a quarter of the screen down from the top. I don’t know if this was in the movie or there was an issue with the theater.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
