A Mixed Bag

I was quite dissapointed that the production crew decided to stray from the storyline in the book by adding scenes or dimishing the magnitude of other important scenes. There were many details of importance that were left out of this movie, which impacts the story line of the final movies to come. However, if one had not read the series, this would not be apparent. The writers were clearly going for the entertainment factor, as there were many comedic lines and the young man who played Draco Malfoy added much depth to his character, something that wasn't present in previous films. Overall, it was good entertainment but it did not capture the pure magic of the books.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
