Possibly the worst use of Jeff Bridges, 3-D, IMAX, and CGI ever.
Predictable and derivative from beginning to end.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Technically perfect, but doesn't connect

This is an extremely well-made movie. The acting is very good. Same with the dialog, camerawork, costumes. All the details are there. So I think it must have been the intention of the writer/director to make a cold-as-chrome and just as smooth-surfaced movie that is as remarkable as a robot actually dancing "The Robot." There's nothing to hold onto in this movie, you just appreciate everything and leave the theater never having connected.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
