Very Good/Could have been great!

I enjoyed Johnny Depps potrayal of Dillinger and Marion Cotillard was great as Billie. I thought all the characters were well played, but they lacked development. Dillinger was raised by an abusive father, Pervis was in way over his head and, Billie just pops up in the movie and becomes his girlfriend with no back ground at all. Hardly a mention of the hero Dillinger was to the poor people of the era.
I loved the way it was shot and Mann did a great job making it fun to watch, but a little more about the characters would have made this movie great.
