Not even DVD worthy

I have always enjoyed Matt Damon as an actor, however his work in this movie was a complete disappointment. I kept waiting for the plot to move in an upward direction, but the tone of the movie was set at the very beginning and stayed the same throughout....uneventful. When the movie ended, everyone in the theatre just sat quietly as if saying, "This is it?" I felt guilty after the show for spending hard earned money on this movie. Don't bother to buy the DVD........again, money will be wasted.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Definitely not an original plot

I definitely enjoyed the movie. However, when the plot was revealed, it did not have a "gripping effect." It paralleled the Jason Bourne series towards the end. That is why I rated the movie a 3 star. All I could think about was how the movie mirrored the overall theme of Bourne, including the girl that became his partner because she was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Sound familiar? This movie was average, but is not a "repeater."
Yes, I recommend this movie.

An original concept

I was beginning to wonder about the plot, and quality of acting, for the first 15 minutes. However, the movie started taking off and required my full attention to keep up with all the "layers" of dreams. It was an interesting and original plot. I will purchase the DVD when it is available and watch again. It is the type of movie you will learn something new each time you view it.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Intense action

The movie was sluggish at the beginning, but it made up for lost time, as the action picked up and was non-stop after that. Travolta was dynamic, as usual, when he plays a rough and aggresive character. The movie, however, was predictable in certain areas. Still, I would recommend seeing this movie at the theatre.

Wait for the DVD

I will give it a 2 rating for effort. Hugh Grant demonstrates the same acting poses and gestures throughout the movie. The overall acting lacked in performance. The writers tried to write comedic lines, but failed miserably. I did not feel that Parker and Grant blended well in the movie. It is a decent rental when it comes out on DVD, but not of a movie calibur
production.

it's Complicated

This movie kept a consistent flow of comedy throughout. The characters keep things moving with no down time to catch a breather.
I would have liked Steve Martin's comedic talent to come out more. It seemed as though he was struggling to "keep it in." I kept waiting for him to let loose, but it never happened. Overall, an excellent and hilarious movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Better than I ever expected. Will see it again to "brush up" before the sequel comes out. The movie kept you thinking and in suspense.
