So disappointing in that it could have really been an amazing movie, but ended up just being good. Johnny Depp was amazing as Dillinger, but unfortunately nothing else in the movie is on par with his performance. Bale was flat, and nondescript. Anyone could have done what he did. We never get to know any of Dillinger's almost equally famous cronies, and barely notice or care when they die. The director put more emphasis on lame gunfights and car chases than actual plot. But it was solid, and nothing was bad, just some things could have been so much better.
