Micheal Mann should have been more accurate with his portrayal of the facts considering they are well known. NONE of the men Pervis was after were killed at Little Bohemia, Nitti had no connection to Dillinger. I wonder if he even read the book. Johnny Depp was the movie, and Mike Vieau was convincing as Ed Shouse, but Christian Bale was not a good Pervis and Hoovers' character was woefully miscast. You can only truely enjoy this movie if you know NOTHING about the life and times of John Dillinger.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
