Third time is hardly ever a charm

As far as sequels go, this was average. Being in 3D was the only redeeming quality. The characters have been played out. Although Simon Pegg's new Aussie survivalist weasel was a highlight. I hope we don't see a 4th, and I especially do not want to see a tv series based around the antics of Peaches the baby mammoth. And introducing a love interest for Scrat the prehistoric squirrel only solidified his need for therapy. my 9 yr old was bored.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
