I was impressed by the continuity of the storyline for an initial studio effort by Drew Barrymore. Ellen Page reminds me of a young and petite Julie Roberts. The ensemble cast is well balanced in talent and ability to tell a credible story. The scene pacing is a bit slow, but it makes for an enjoyable 111 mins. I had no real complaints about the pacing except that it did not have the fast-paced punchy, or scarcastic dialog that we have become used to mainly because that is what Hollywood produces in plentitude. It was a refreshing taste of storytelling in chronological order. Thank you Drew Barrymore for a wonderful film that is sure to have a cult following.
