Not very good...

The formula that worked so well in the first one is applied religiously here with less than entertaining results. For starters, we've been waiting for this guy to develop a personality for years and he's gotten less personable after each sequel. There are a couple of car chase scenes and fights that may entertain you, but tearing up a $10 bill would give you a bigger rush than this film. Don't waste your money.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Pure Garbage!

Painfully loud soundtrack and a total absence of character development and stable story line plague this film from beginning to end. Don't see it. Don't rent it. Avoid it at all costs.

Terrible movie...

Conclusions drawn about the real W are overly simplified and flat. Stone's popularity should dwindle below W's at this point.

Action-packed CIA flick...

Crowe and DiCaprio ego showdown that makes for entertaining viewing. This is an above average US War on Terrorism film that takes you throughout the muslim world in near-Jason Bourne fashion. I enjoyed all the scenes that took place in cities like Dubai, Jordan and Iraq. All things considered, I think I got $4 worth of the $12 I spent to see it.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Better than expected...

This movie uses the first-person camera perspective to guide us through a night of terror. The movie starts off with a reporter (the woman pictured in the movie poster) spending a night in a firehouse with a bunch of firemen. She shadows them when they get a call from a Los Angeles building owner who says that there's a mad old woman screaming. Before they know it, the CDC has quarantined the building and the occupants can't make heads or tales out of what's going on. I won't ruin it, but I will say that I found it chilling and better than I expected it to be. The acting was even good. Enjoy.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

You too can pay the price of admission to see a family fall apart over principles and money. Unfortunately, Kinnear's portrayal is not consistent enough and I had to spend too much time trying to figure out his levels of frustration in several scenes. This movie definitely has moments of greatness, but they're too few to recommend it.

Disappointed with music...

Witty teens-on-the-loose-in-Manhattan film full of the usual obvious moments during the initial puppy love stages. Unfortunately, the audience isn't treated to a stellar soundtrack despite the title and theme being centered around a great playlist. This movie treats music as a faint backdrop to the storyline and it felt to me that integrating it more would've added to the viewing experience.

Samuel Jackson plays one of the worst neighbors in the history of cinema, but that's not enough to save this movie. It's full of the standard black/white tension cliches, with nothing compelling or entertaining to add. I was glad that it was over at the end.

Depressing!!!

This is one depressing movie! For starters, Kingsley plays an old intellectual who has crafted an air-tight arguement for being alone and independent in the world. Meanwhile, he sleeps around with beatiful women--young and old. Without ruining the ending, it goes from tales of a geriatric gigolo to the guy who finally falls in love and doesn't care what the partner looks like just as long as they can be together--even through a potentially terminal illness. I didn't like it as a story or a movie-going experience, but I sure did like Penelope.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

The Government is stupid and powerful--check.
Brad Pitt is a natural playing a dumb jock--check.
Clooney has committment issues--check.
Not many surprises here, but great fun indeed. Welcome back Malkovich and McDormand, you were missed. John and Frances make this movie great and I had fun watching them have a blast with this script. Highly recommended for those who like to think about stupid people at the movies. Enjoy.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
