Having read the books first and thus graded on the following; Acting, Special Effects, Soundtrack, and storyline. I found this movie to be better then the last by far, but still not the greatest of the 7. The acting as usual was superb, special effects were awesome, soundtrack was well done, and storyline unfortunately there were some cuts and changes that a HP Fan might not approve of, but overall not as bad as the last movie storyline. Also the Storyline was a little slow in places and fast in others. Overall I give Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows pt 1 a B-. Good Job WB and keep up the good work.

In comparison to the other movies and to the books themselves, whilest taking into consideration acting and direction, storyline, visuals/sound efx and SoundTrack. I gave this Movie an Overall C- in HP Terms an A for Acceptable. The Acting was awarded a B+ Based on acting skills with the exception of Michael Gambdon who left something to be desired. the Visuals etc.. received a B+ as well for the outstanding/Excellent job that it incured. However the Storyline was a C- to D+ as it completely and utterly was disaterous. The Direction I also gave a C- to D+ as I fear the Direction that the story line Alterations have not only affected just this movie but the 7th and final one to come.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
