This movie had its endearing moments but the flow was all off. I got confused at times about the stage of the relationship he was currently going through. Plus the narrator reminded me of a Pushing Daisies episode. Both main characters gave excellent performances and that alone was worth the price of admission. Also since I am female, it was interesting for me to watch a version of male neuroses when a relationship is on the skids.
I loved it! It was such an amusing film that it felt like I had a grin plastered to my face the entire two hours. All of the actors gave outstanding performances but for me, it was Stanley Tucci's portrayal of Paul Child that caught my attention. The chemistry that he and Meryl Streep shared on screen seemed so natural.
