JK Rowling... good books... but this movie was aweful! Very SLOW compared to the others... Left out way too many details!!! Too much empahsis on "snogging" and not enough on the trips Dumbledore made....no one even asked in the movie where he went but one time.
No explanation given on why Snape got away with what he did---without a fight.
What's with the FADE IN, FADE OUT scenes?? There I sat waiting for the next scene, and the credits started rolling. Very disappointed. I hope the next one is worth waiting for ....all the others were so great! Even my son, whose read the books and seen every movie was disappointed with this one. Sorry, not good.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was excellent! It was better than anticipated. The action, storyline, characters, etc. held their parts and captured the attention of the audience the entire time. I never heard one complaint from within the audience, no groan or moans of disappointment. It was great! The only part I didn't like was the little off-shoot of Mojo and the new dog and the "dominance" issue. Other than that....it was RIGHT ON! I'd see it again...I will be buying it when it goes to DVD...it was worth every penny! I will likely see it again in the theater before it goes to DVD!!! The "Old Timer" from the past (Jet Fire?) was awesome.... It added a "Knights of the Round Table" feel to the movie and was quite welcome!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
