It follows along with the 1st movie in the sense that it doesn't go along with the books. They put their own twist to it and it worked. I reread the book to recall details and I probably shouldn't have - the kids didn't and they LOVED it!
We can't wait for the 3rd movie - just don't wait so long!
Pros well paced, great story, great actors
Yes, I recommend this movie.

It was a bit surprising a few facts they left out of the movie but I realize the movie can't be 4 hours long! It was great - I took my nephew and this director was wonderful about all of the funny parts! We both enjoyed his focus and the direction he took us. We were a little disappointed that we didn't get to see the farewell to Dumbledore.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
