It's a ballerina movie that your average ballerina probably has no interest in. I imagine the movie being conceived by someone meeting an extremely uptight girl with an extremely overbearing mom, and then deciding to make a movie about how horrible her life is. That's what this movie is. It's awesome and psychotic.

The movie was visually amazing, and while the story is in no way good or original, it isn't bad either. The story is basically a method for you to see some really cool visual stuff. You won't be disappointed by it, as long as you see it in IMAX 3D. I could imagine you would be let down if you see it in 2D, because as said, it's really all about the visuals.

Visually great, well acted, great story. Somehow I can't describe it without thinking of the matrix, but in no way does it seem like a rip-off of the matrix. It could be described as a dramatic version of the concept the matrix uses. It has a classic final scene. All in all it's a really great movie.
