I was a little scared of this movie having grown up with the almost purely cerebral Holmes, but this movie was fun and stayed for the most part true to the Holmes of literature. The action was fun and the strong smart Watson was great. Downey was beleivable as a younger Holmes and the interaction with Irene Adler was great.
Let's a hope for a sequel.

This movie was a great addition to the HP saga. The story line followed the book pretty well, granted some important events were left out but as with all the JK Rollins books the movie would have to be 5 hours long and even rabid Harry Potter fans like us might find that a bit long.
The character development was good to see and it was great to see Malfoy as a three dimensional character, conflicted and afraid.
We will be going back to see it for a second time!!!
