To preface this, I have not read any of the books so I can't compare the movies to the books. As a fan of the movies, I would say that this movie wasn't very exciting. I know that it is the story that controls the movie so that's why I didn't deduct points for it. Also, I think the acting abilities of each actor has increased and made even the most boring scenes bearable. I could not give this five stars because I found myself at multiple times bored. However, when it was good... it was really good. I'll watch it again.... on DVD... Because I'm not sitting through another group of 17 year olds acting out the movie in the aisles.
On a side note, my girlfriend reads all of the books (multiple times) and said that the movie was very accurate and she enjoyed it a lot.
