Believable movie with ugly political overtones. Matt Damon is good as usual, but it's hard not to think of him as Bourne. Great action scenes. Would recommend it for Damon fans.

DiCaprio is excellent in this movie. Lots of twists and turns and you need to follow every scene from beginning to the surprising end! One of those movies you will discuss with everyone who sees it. Terrifying glimpse into the mental health industry. Makes me want to read the book.

Loved this movie. Jeff Bridges was great, the music was wonderful (especially if you are a Country Music fan). Robert Duvall was so good, as usual. Loved the "fishing" scene! Would recommend this movie to anyone that likes great acting. Colin F nice to look at,. and Maggie G. was O.K. but at times she didn't seem as believable as the others. What a great story about alcoholic recovery. My only complaint was that sometimes the dialog was so "quiet" that I couldn't hear it.

I thought Mel Gibson was great in his portrayal of the crushed and vengeful father. It had alot of violence and blood, however, that was part of the storyline. Parts were predictable, but on the whole if you are a Mel Gibson fan, it's a must see. Can't wait to see his next movie-would like to see him do a classic western story. Would be a great traveling preacher going from town to town and of course meeting up with the "bad guys" along the way!
