OK I recommend this on the strength of the movie overall, despite some of it's shortcomings.
The twins were a waste of time. I felt about them the same I felt about Jar Jar Binks. Lame attempt at humor that was completely off base.
Some of the jokes and words were not really family friendly, and given the age of some of the kids seated in my vicinity, felt really inappropriate.
As far as the movie as a whole, it had some really great action scenes, some genuinely funny moments, and the story focused more on the the history of the Autobots and Decpticons, which was nice.
So overall if you are a fan of the first one, you should enjoy this one as well.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
