The original Transformers was stunning and dramatic. It had twists and action, and took people on a ride, qualities that the sequel tried to recreate, but failed to get it just right. As far as sequels go, The second Transformers was a good movie, but it can't make the jump to great in my mind because at parts it looked like the makers of the film were trying too hard to produce a blockbuster. However, compared to other sequels of hit movies, Transformers is by far better. It just didn't amaze me like I had hoped it would.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
