I enjoyed Indy 4 for what it is, bubblegum.
This movie has lot of great action and effects with a few clever nods to the previous films. It's also nice to see Ford reprising his role. And, it all wraps up in a nice little happy ending like each movie before it.
Now, for the bad part. I found myself laughing at some of the unrealistic scenarios, and feeling like there were other points of the movie that needed to be explained better. I won't spoil it by saying what they were.
In the end, you know what you're getting when you go see an Indy film, fun. It's not the English Patient or Atonement, but that's alright from time to time.
