I would not recommend it to someone who has kids under 15.
The second half of the movie was much more appropirate for kids than the first half. There were many sections that were really not necessary in the first half of the movie. There could have been more kid friendly ways of coming across with the theme in the first half than what they did. The dog sections served no useful purpose to the story line what so ever.
