I'll admit I was skeptical when I heard it was almost 3 hours long, but I honestly didn't notice! The effects were great, I laughed alot, & the story was easy to follow (I'm not as familiar with all the characters as my husband so I'm usually lost!). My only complaint is that Megan Fox is super-hot...until she opens her mouth. Thankfully she only has like ten lines so her acting-or lack thereof-is bearable only because she's so fun to look at.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
