The movie was all right. It did inspire me to take up tai chi, but I felt that there were certain scenes that just lagged. Moments in the movie in which I felt I needed to grab a remote control and fast forward the movie.
Though this be true, these moments didn't dominate the moments in which the movie was a joy to watch. Hence the reason why I would recommend this to my friends if they were going to watch it for the first time.
In my case, I like the graphics and the whole concept of elemental control appeals to me so much that I will watch it again this coming weekend, though not in 3D.

NEVER DISAPPOINTS

I am a big SATC fan. Movie was soo funny that my sister had to hit me and tell me that I was embarrassing her. I laughed sooo hard I nearly peed on myself. Pathetic I know.
Though this be true, the substance of the plot wasn't all that great. Nonetheless, I would still give it 5 Stars because I had a good laugh(s).
Would recommend this movie to all SATC fans as well as viewers looking for a good romance movie with adult issues.

LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!

Was an IMAX virgin, and this was the first 3d movie that I saw in IMAX. Never again will I watch 3D with anything else other than IMAX.
Despite the PG rating of this movie, I am proud to say that I know without a doubt that the movie will appeal to adults as well.
The story was so complex that I had to cower a little into my seat because my eyes started to water a little during a bit of the movie towards the end. Any movie that will make my eyes water, is a movie that I will watch over and over again and never tire of it.
Graphics were great. The story was great. The story can be great but the dialogue can suck, but I loved the dialogue as well. Nothing bad to say about this movie. It is a MUST WATCH!!!

Just a Sucker for Romance Comedy

Watched the movie with little expectations. Have realized that this is the key in enjoying a movie whether it be good or bad.
Movie was good enough to make me tear up for a bit of it. So I would definitely recommend this movie for the people out there that likes a good romance comedy.
With everything that is said and done, I really have nothing great to say about the movie because it is a typical romance comedy movie. Once you have seen one, you've seen them all. Though this be true, I also have nothing bad to say about the movie. So, overall, it falls on the average.

Nothing complex about this movie. Straightforward, and it is just one of those movies that you watch just to escape reality for two hours.
Beginning, Middle, and Ending ... everything was good and made me happy. What I wanted the ending to be, I got which is one of the main reason why I was pleasantly surprised by the movie.
No meaningless dialogue and even if there were, it was sugarcoated by humor.
Good watch for a first-time, but not one of those movies that I would watch again after a few months.

Robert Downey Jr. Heaven

Loved this movie. Couldn't get enough of Mr. Robert Downey Jr. *squeals like one of those teenage girls watching TWILIGHT*
Now on to the movie itself. For some bizarre reason, I prefer the first part over the sequel. The action for the sequel sort of fizzled. They were more interested in character development, which is fine. Had hoped that they would give more information about Johansson's character THE BLACK WIDOW, but nothing. Oh well.
Ivan Vanko was not a bad bad guy. I actually felt sympathetic over him, and didn't want him to meet a tragic end. So, I don't know if this is a good thing or not.
Overall ... Liked the movie so much I saw it three times. Sad, I know. Twice regular, and once in IMAX. This should tell you guys just how much I liked/loved the movie.

Great concept, but couldn't deliver

Being a big sci-fi fan, I had high expectations for this movie. Tackling the idea of going the round-about way of achieving human cloning and showing the moral and scientific repercussions the scientists are faced with were just some of the things that drew me to this movie. With this said, never in my life have I talked so much during a movie. Never in my life have I ever hated so many characters in a single movie. That is, until I watched this movie.
Elsa (the lead female) reminded me of Eve offering up the forbidden apple to Adam. Clive (the male lead) was just a sad excuse for a man. To make things worst, the only character that I liked in this movie was Dren (the specimen that resulted from their experiment).
What started out as an ok movie to watch in the theatres, quickly turned out to be a movie that I would've waited for to come out on DVD. To add further insult, this movie was reminiscent of SPECIES. Genetically engineered humanoid lifeform run amok.
