Here Comes the Boom

I give "Casablanca" five stars. I give "Transformers 2" two. This movie, is an explosion-filled thrill ride, with a fair plot, weak character development, and a too many comedic moments that manage to derail the drama. I found Shia Labeouf's delivery charming and humorous. Many people applaud the use of Computer Generated Imagining, and the results yielded. CGI is something that should only "enhance" a film, not "make" it. Overuse is a crutch, and the sign of an overall weak project. Transformers 2 is a prime example of this on display. In the end, despite its many flaws, I would still recommend seeing "Transformers 2" if you enjoy the summer blockbuster for its lack of thought required, and enjoyment of visually-pleasing CGI effects.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
