If you are expecting a remake, this isn't it. Closer to a prequel in the sequence of the legend, but don't expect the same old story. I loved this fresh new look at the old legend, and I intend to see it again - and buy it as soon as it comes out on DVD. Cate Blanchett rocks as Marian, and Russell Crowe was a great choice for a battle-weary Crusader. This is definitely one to watch!

Worth every minute!

This did not disappoint one bit! I have read reviews that it was not up to par, but it was action packed, edge of my chair, heart pounding, and tear jerking at the same time! You MUST stay until the very end, after the credits, or you will miss out! I loved every minute of it - and this was how we celebrated my birthday!!!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
