Great action, but a little over the top

The action sequences and special effects were great. So Fox is smokin' hot, but since when did that mean that her character had to be dumbed down? Parts of the movie were funny, others were cheesy and distracting. The beauty of the first movie was that it was funny when you didn't expect it- this one attempted humor constantly. Overall, I liked it, but definitely doesn't compare to original.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
