Not nearly as good as the first, still decent.

Anyone can get their fix for explosions, don't expect much more. Special effects are jaw-dropping (best I've ever seen). That said, the plot feels weak and drawn out. The Fallen is explained poorly, the love triangle is a weak 20 min, and most of the rest of the time you're left wondering how much longer the battle you're watching will last or when the next Decepticons will appear out of nowhere. There is NO reason this movie has to be 2 hr and 30 min.
Most of the attempted comedy falls flat and the drama feels laughable. Don't get me wrong, I don't have a problem with the acting...the build up and tension just aren't there.
Bay made a summer action flick for teens...sadly. Teenagers will like it, doesn't mean it's a quality movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
