Transformers II not really for kids!

Took my 3 boys on opening night for their end of school treat and BIG MISTAKE. Great movie action-wise but all the profanity throughout the movie was unncessary and inappropriate for the pre-teen set - hence the PG-13 rating! I am no prude but I felt like a bad parent instead of giving my kids a fun treat. I spent more time after the movie reminding them of what they could NOT repeat instead of talking about what they liked about the movie and the sad part is that it would still been a great movie without all of that nonsense in there. We won't be seeing it again on the big screen and probably not buying the DVD unless they do a kid-friendly version. Sorry Michael Bay but you blew it big time! I hope Transformers 3 is more kid-friendly!
No, I do not recommend this movie.
