Good but not up to the hype

Yes, it was a good movie. The action was over the top but in a comic-book-good way. Yes, Ledger was a great joker in a different way than others have played him and Dent was well played too. Bale and Caine turned in solid performances, as expected. Ol'Maggie was ... eh... So, we're left with great action. But it was broken up and unrealistic in most every way. Loud and in your face seemed to be the style. Oscar for Ledger? Why? Cause he acted all goofy and crazy ... playing a goofy crazy guy? Oh, right, cause he OD'd... ehh...
Yes, I recommend this movie.
