Have Americans forgotten what to do when they go to the movies? Sit down, eat your popcorn, be quiet and enjoy the show. Doing this also allows OTHERS to enjoy the show. Instead, you have stupid teenagers throwing candy & running their mouths the entire time, cell phone lights and beeps going off everywhere around you. We actually almost had a fight in the audience due to candy throwing. Savannah, Georgia is the worst place I have ever been to see a movie. I guess it goes with the territory.
I would have preferred this to be some sort of next generation "The Thing" however I did know going in that it was not of that mold. Therefore, this movie was really good in my opinion with the exception of the (over the top) partying and nudists running through the camp). Those little scenes were really un-flattering and not necessary. She was superb and the twist is almost predictable but there is enough doubt that it keeps you tuned in. Don't go to the bathroom during this movie.
I was excited to go and see this movie. But, then I went to see it. I did not enjoy half the cast in this film especially the main guy, "Ripcord". I wish someone would have pulled his early. I also don't like his side kick; one of the Wayans brothers. The supporting cast is in my opinion much better than the leading duo. I didn't even like the actor they cast for Destro. Besides these issues, the movie has TONS of action and excitement, some great fight scenes and some ok looking women. I just expected more than what I got out of the GI Joes. By the way, where is the Cobra?
This is a good movie and I have never read the book. It had plenty of suspense, lots of suspicious characters, the researcher is nice eye candy, and it has a surprising twist at the end. I thought I had initially picked up on this final twist shortly before it developed but they sold me that I was thinking wrongly. in the end though, my suspicions were right in the first place.
