It's feeling a bit old...

My 8-year old really liked this movie. The 3-D effects were great but I felt there were some slow spots in the movie during which I literally fell asleep. So did my husband and the guy sitting next to me. Fortunately, it has a very easy storyline and I was able to keep up with what was going on even though I missed some parts. Not my favorite of the three but it was a cute picture despite.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
